COMBAT SHOOTING
Mission

Our mission is to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills to engage in combat situations effectively and safely. Our instructors have years of experience in the armed forces and law enforcement, affording them many opportunities to fine-tune their techniques and strategies. Through extensive classroom and practical training, our students are taught everything from proper weapon handling and target identification to situational awareness and escalation of force. Our goal is to empower our students with the confidence to defend themselves and others in high-pressure situations.
Combat shooting versus Competition Shooting
Combat shooting is designed for self-defense in real-life situations where shooters must react quickly and accurately while under stress. Combat shooting typically involves engaging multiple targets at various distances while moving and using cove. The primary goal is to stop the threat.
On the other hand, competition shooting is a sport that involves shooting at stationary targets in a structured environment. Practitioners typically focus on accuracy, speed, and technique while shooting at targets while being timed. The difference lies in the goal and the circumstances of each activity.
Combat shooting is focused on practical application in self-defense situations, while competitive shooting focuses on achieving precise techniques and high scores under optimal conditions.

Israeli Combat Shooting

Israeli Combat Shooting incorporates various key elements to enhance shooting proficiency and adaptability in tactical scenarios. It emphasizes the physiology of pointing and utilizing the dominant eye for precise target acquisition. Point shooting is particularly beneficial, drawing from lessons learned from past events, as it enables rapid engagement without relying solely on precise sight alignment.
By shooting with both eyes open, shooters maintain situational awareness and capitalize on their dominant eye's advantage. Tactical shooting positions are employed strategically to provide stability, cover, and a wide field of view. Understanding the nuances of Point Shooting, Flash Sight Picture, and their combined use ensures effective target engagement.
The training strikes a balance between speed and accuracy, recognizing that in high-pressure situations, quick response times are crucial. Distance and target size influence the selection of the appropriate shooting system, enabling shooters to adapt and deliver precise shots based on varying circumstances.
One-hand shooting techniques emphasize mastering the proper grip, maximizing control and recoil management. Additionally, two-handed shooting methods are taught to enhance stability and overall accuracy. Controlling the trigger and maintaining the right shooting pace during burst fire contribute to controlled and effective engagements.
The training also addresses shooting while in motion, preparing individuals to engage targets dynamically. The program covers engaging multiple targets at different distances, teaching shooters to quickly transition between adversaries.
In close-quarters combat (CQB) scenarios, instinctive shooting plays a vital role, relying on muscle memory and reflexes to rapidly engage threats. Point shooting techniques are utilized even from an inferior tactical position, ensuring effective response capabilities in challenging situations.
Fast Aiming Shooting drills enhance response speed and accuracy, honing the ability to quickly acquire and engage targets. Tactical drills incorporating instinctive shooting further develop the shooter's adaptability and response efficiency.
The timing of the first and last round is emphasized to optimize engagements and ensure the completion of necessary follow-up shots. Speed versus accuracy drills challenge shooters to strike a balance, continually pushing their limits to achieve peak performance.
